Biography
The daughter of George Dees and Martha (Stewart) Dees, Mary Dees was born in Tippah County, Mississippi around 1853.[citation needed] She lived there with her family.[1] Her father passed away in 1863; in 1870, Mary Dees lived in Tippah County with her mother and her siblings.[2] She is believed to have passed away before 1880.[citation needed]
