Biography

William was most likely born between 1794-1795; according to the 1850 Census. He was the husband of Manima Allen and it is believed that they had at least four children (three are linked on Find-a-Grave): Jane Gaston Davis (1822–1872), Joseph David Davis (1824–1909), Charles R. Davis (1826–1891), and Edward/Edwin Davis (1829–1854).
