Biography

Ann was a Friend (Quaker)

Ann Cox was born about January 13, 1807 in Ross County, Ohio, United States, daughter of Benjamin Cox and Anne (Rhoads) Cox. She moved with her parents from Ohio to Randolph County, Indiana in 1817.[1]

Her siblings were:

  6. Benjamin Cox
  7. Mary Cox

Ann had five children with her second husband David Haworth:

  4. William Cox Haworth
  5. Anna Rhodes Haworth

She died on September 1, 1896 in Randolph County, Indiana and was buried in the Whiteriver Cemetery.[2][3]

I agree that George Ward was not the spouse of Ann Cox.

I have added sources for Ann's three marriages and connected profiles for each of the three spouses.

I am proposing to remove the recently added relationship to George Ward and his children pending results of further research. I see no sources to confirm the relationship. Other information has her married to three other men at different times in her life. These relationships also need confirmed with sources.
