Lydia Cox was born on May 11, 1811 most likely in North Carolina, daughter of Benjamin Cox and Anne (Rhoads) Cox.

She passed away on August 11, 1847 in Randolph County, Indiana and was buried in the Quaker Lynn Cemetery in Lynn, Randolph County.[2]
