The death occurred at Croydon Park recently, of a previous resident of Boomey, in the person of Mr. S. H. Cousins, at the age of 71 years. Mr. Cousins was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Cousins, of 'Haytesbury, ' now known as 'Argentum,' and married Miss Edith Coombs, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Coombs.

The wedding ceremony was performed by the late Canon Alldis at Holy Trinity Church, Beri. Following the marriage, Mr. Cousins and his wife went to Warren where he managed a well known station. After leaving Warren he went to Coolamon where he remained for some years before finally moving to Sydney.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters Gwen (Mrs. Percy Browne) and Valerie (Mrs. S. C. Sawyer) and four grandchildren. One brother, Mr. R . Cousins and two sisters, Mesdames, Blunder and Pratley also survive.
