Hi Kerri, I can't access https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McCarron-1028 to edit the WW2 sticker, can you edit it:

unit=133rd General Transport Company

and check it adds the category https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:133rd_General_Transport_Company%2C_Australian_Army%2C_World_War_II correctly?

Thanks, regards, Margaret

Hi Kerri,

Thank you so much for joining the Southern Cross Stars for the Connect-a-Thon this weekend. There is information on the Southern Cross Stars page, and our chat post at https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1682615 . I see you've already made it on to the new Aussie Challenge Teams channel. Hi Kerri,

We're contacting you for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. We really appreciate your involvement in the Project in the last year. Thank you so much for all your help to improve Australian profiles on WikiTree.

Please could you reply to this message, or send me a private message to let us know if you'd like to stay on in the Project, and if you'd like to make any changes to the teams that you belong to. The teams are listed on Australia Project Teams.

If you've moved on to other things for the moment, that's absolutely fine. We'd appreciate if you'd let us know so that we can remove you from the membership list.

We're always happy to receive any ideas or suggestions that you have to make our project even better.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

The Australia Project Leadership Team ~ Gillian, Margaret and Veronica

Hi Margaret

Checking through it looks like I am on the Sourcerers Team, and fine to leave me there. But given what I have been doing lately, you can add me to both the Data Doctors team and NSW Team if they are looking for bodies! Hopefully work in 2024 wont be too hectic, and will let me keep going with the things I have been working on recently!

Regards Kerri

Hi Kerri!

You’re a member of Southern Cross Stars for the 2023 WikiTree Source-a-Thon. Thanks for choosing us! Your Bib is 170 if you want to your Bib and create a sticker. We kick off this evening. The times for starting and finishing for various locations in Australia is at Southern Cross Stars Chat.

There is Source-a-Thon ‘how to’ information and some lists of unsourced profiles to work on at Southern Cross Stars, but you can work on any unsourced profiles that you want. You’ll find resources relevant to Australia under Australia Project Resources. We'd love to see you on the team Discord channel. If you haven't yet joined Discord, see Help:Discord.

I’m always happy to receive a direct message if you have any other questions, or need help with anything. Have a great fun weekend :-) Gillian, your Team Captain!

Hi Kerri

The 2023 Source-a-Thon is coming up on the weekend commencing 29 September. As usual it’s a 72 hour event. The Southern Cross Stars team will be participating and we’d love to have you on the team again if you’re available. You can register at now at register-now-for-the-2023-source-a-thon. We’re not a super-competitive team, so even if you are only free for a couple of hours or you like to work slowly and go down rabbit holes, it will be fun to have you involved. It all helps to improve the tree. We’ll be on Discord again too, if you like to chat during the event.

G'day, Kerri. Thank you for all your past work with the Australia Project! This is just to touch base with you as you may not be aware that Project Australia has been restructuring some of our Teams, specifically what was under "Profile Improvers". We've decided to split into four related but separate teams underneath the "umbrella" of Profile Improvement: namely, Sourcerers, Data Doctors, Biography Builders, and Connectors & Arborists. As your name is on the current Improvers Team member list, we've placed you on the teams as indicated by your stated interests (or all of them if nothing is indicated). If you'd like to continue as things are, there's no need to respond in any way (although you are more than welcome to do so). If you'd like to change, add, or subtract a team (or teams), you could let us know which one or more of the new Teams you'd like to continue with going forward by replying to this message, editing in (or out) your area(s) of interest on the relevant page(s), or contacting me by private message (or on discord — where each Team now has its own channel on the WikiAustralia server). Looking forward to working with you! (If you've already made changes, feel free to ignore this message.)

Hi Melanie, sorry I am so late in responding, has been very hectic at work in the last 6 months, and I fallen behind in a lots of other areas in my life as a result! But trying to get back on track. I have had a look and it looks like I am on the Sourcerers team (which is good) but after our cleanup weekend last month, I would also like to be added to the Data Doctors team as well if that is ok? I actually find fixing up the little problems quite restful (weird I know) and have been continuing with it since the cleanup weekend.

Let me know if that is ok or if you need anything further from me

cheers Kerri

Hello Kerri,

It's time for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. Thank you so much for contributing to the project and Australian profiles on WikiTree during the last year. We really appreciate you!

If you would like to stay in the project, please reply to this message or send me a private message to let us know that you would like to stay on. Alternatively, if your WikiTree and research interests have moved away from Australia, please let us know and we can remove you from the membership list for the moment. You will, of course, be very welcome to rejoin the project down the track whenever you want to.

We are also keen to know if you want to make any changes to the team or teams that you want to focus on. Take a look on Australia Project Teams to see what teams there are to choose from. If you want to discuss this, or have any questions or suggestions about the Australia Project we'd love to hear your ideas.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to us!

Hi Karen, Thanks for your input I've deleted = Research Notes =

This Profile has date of death in 1887, however our records have date of death in 1910 aged 59.

Name: Alice Nuttall
Age: 59
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1851
Registration Quarter: Jan-Feb-Mar
Death Registration Place: Manchester, Lancashire, United Kingdom
Death Date: Mar 1910
Inferred Death Place: Lancashire, United Kingdom
Volume: 8d England & Wales, Civil Registration Death Index, 1837-1915
Page: 117

Requires more research McCarron-898

and added the correct date of death.

Peter Nuttall remarries in 1889 - stating widower, Alice is not located in any Census after they 'Part' and it is more likely that she would die with the Registration District of Oswaldtwistle (Abode Church is the locate prior I have Peter) and Manchester is quite a distance away and many years later with No hits.

I put on uncertain due to the possibility that she remarries - both putting their first marriage behind them.

Hi, Kerri!

Thank you for your participation in October 2020’s Source-a-thon. Your contributions helped us to clear over 57,000 profiles that needed sourcing. This makes our Shared Tree all that much better.

Hi,

The Global Cemeteries Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Cemetery Teams? If not, is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google Groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (CEMETERIES) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.

Last, but not least, we would like to thank you for all of your contributions to WikiTree and let you konw that any ideas or suggestions for improvement you may have for the Global Cemeteries Project would greatly appreciated!

I look forward to hearing form you soon!

Hi Kerri,

Recently you completed a profile for me on "Arthur Leslie Barber" (Barber-7787). Although I thanked you at the time, I have now had time to really look at it, and appreciate just how much research and information you did put in on this. I do express my gratitude for you kindness, and incidentally, you did a great job! Margaret Coker (Cranley-15)
