Experience Cobb was born on June 8, 1692 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Province of Massachusetts Bay, daughter of Samuel Cobb (1654–1727) and Elizabeth Taylor (1656–1721).

Experience (21) married Jasher Taylor (28) (born about 1685 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay Colony; son of Richard Taylor and Hannah (UNKNOWN) Taylor) on February 18, 1714 in Yarmouth, Barnstable. Their children were:
