Biography
Ebenezer Cobb was born on April 30, 1726, in Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay , son of Thomas Cobb (1683–~1742) and Rachel Stone (~1687–1746).
In 1742, Ebenezer Cobb, nominated Onis Bacon of Barnstable to be his guardian.[1]
Ebenezer (24) married Mary Smith (19) (born about March 26, 1731, in Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay Colony; daughter of Matthias Smith and Hannah (Fuller) Smith) on November 15, 1750.[2]
Their children were:
- Rachel Cobb (1751– )
- Hannah Cobb (1753–1816)
Ebenezer died on January 5, 1757, in Barnstable, aged 30. He was buried in Cobb's Hill Cemetery East and West, Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.[3]
