If you found your way to my humble profile, you likely have an interest in Case Genealogy and/or are a relative in some form. It would be great to know who else is researching, share resources, and coordinate efforts. My parents moved from New York to Virginia when I was an infant. Having grown up far away from any extended family, I am very interested in making connections, new relationships and re-establishing relationships with lost family.

Thanks for the offer of joining the Case ONS. My focus is on Lancashire so I probably have fixed suggestions, sourced, etc some Case profiles. It is also possible I worked on them as part of extending my CC7, but if so, it is not a family name that I recognize. I think my Case work is incidental and not focused

Greetings George,

Due to an extraordinary amount of profiles I have on my watchlist, I've needed to orphan so many profiles of my Case cousins on Wikitree. I am commencing adding the Case name study category to them and could have sub-categorized the latest into an Indiana family. There are several of the Wilson family that married family of the surname Case. I see per the WT relationship finder that we are 11th cousins dating to the Sheppard line.

Happy researching!

Hi Cousin David,

I will gladly continue the work on the Case profiles. I agree that a subdivision needs to developed similar to a hierarchy folder system. My understanding at this point is mainly by differentiating the immigrant ancestors as William for the RI/NY line and John for the CT line. I have not sussed out the VA line. That will take a little time to develop and digest. I believe the later concentrations of Case groups are all derivative of those main divisions, moving west to Michigan & Nebraska and backfilling unpopulated areas, e.g. Vermont & Carolinas. Please stay in touch and thank you for collaborating!
