Biography
Research Note
Two dates for her death have been identified, February 12 1570/71 and November 25 1587. Both are stated in various sources to have been in Beddington Surrey, but neither appears in the Parish Record for St Marys, Beddington, the church normally used by the Carew family.
However, the date of death in 1570 is not possible. Her first husband Nicholas Throckmorton died in 1572, and there is evidence supporting her subsequent marriage to Adrian Stokes,. Until evidence is unearthed to support a more robust conclusion, it is proposed to adopt the 1587 date. Kennedy-14080 10:36, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

Anne died in about 1587 in London. Her will passed probate on 10 November 1587.[1]
Research Notes
Names a god-daughter Anne Saunders in her will. It would appear that there was no marriage to Stokes from reading the willBrowning-5288 15:31, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
