Biography
Betsy's birth and death dates are from her tombstone in Wilhite Cemetery, Sullivan County, Missouri.[1]
When she was around six years old her family moved to White County, Tenn., where she met and eventually married her third cousin John Jefferson Broyles.
Around 1841 they moved to Dallas County, Missouri, and later to Sullivan County.
