“Brooks – Thomas Milton Brooks, 76, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 26, 1996. He is survived by his wife, Frances Brooks; his children, Thomas Richard and Robert Alan Brooks and Jean Holly McMurtry; his sister, Glada Lee Snoke; and nine grandchildren. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home’s Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, where the family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday and where services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. Mr. Brooks was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a Deacon and Trustee at Friendship Baptist Church.
