"Frances R. Brooks, 81, widow of Thomas Milton Brooks, went to be with the Lord July 17, 2003. Mrs. Brooks was a faithful member of the Friendship Baptist Church choir for 47 years. Her family will receive friends 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Bliley Funeral Home, Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of choice.
