Samuel was born November 13, 1913[1]
or November 16, 1913 in DuBois, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, United States.[2]
His parents were Ira Bresnick and Belle (Sykes) Bresnick.[3]
Samuel lived with his parents until 1942.[4]
In 1920 they lived in Huston, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, United States.[3]
In 1930[5]
and 1940, they lived in Williamsport, Lycoming, Pennsylvania, United States.[6]
Samuel enlisted in the United States Army as a Private in the Air Corps October 5, 1942 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. He was single with no dependents, had completed four years of high school, and was a skilled motor vehicle mechanic.[4]
In 1950, when Samuel received World War II Veterans' Compensation, he was living in Philipsburg, Centre, Pennsylvania, United States.[2]
Samuel married Bertha Stein and they adopted three children, Steven, Lawrence, and Simmie. The family lived in Jamestown, New York, United States.[7]
At some point, Samuel and Bertha moved to Maitland, Orange, Florida, United States, where Samuel died May 11, 1976.[8]
He is buried in the Ohev Shalom Cemetery in Orlando, Orange, Florida, United States.[9]
Notes
There is another person named Samuel Bresnick, who was born August 29, 1913 in Massachusetts, United States and died April 5, 2005 in Essex, New Jersey.[10]
As a result, there are many records that have to be differentiated to determine which Samuel Bresnick the record is for.
