William Blois was born about 1535 to Richard Blois and Elizabeth Hill in Ipswich, Suffolk, England.[1]
William married Alice Nottingham (daughter of William Nottingham) on September 13, 1560 at St Nicholas, Ipswich, Suffolk.[1]
They had two sons and two daughters, who were:[1]
- William (baptised 15 Nov 1562) who married Frances Tye
- Alice (Blois) Pike of Spikesworth (baptised 25 Jun 1565) who married William Pike of Spikesworth
- Dorcas
- Robert (baptised 11 Jun 1568).
BURIAL 27 February 1607. Mr William Bloys senior one of ye Portmen of Ipswitch was buryed[2]
Research Notes
William Blois, son of Richard, married Alice, daughter of William Nottingham, by who he had two sons, and two daughters 1. William 2. Robert, died young, Dorcase, died unmarried, Alice, wife of William Peck, of Spikesworth in Norfolk. He died 1607.
