Biography
Gabriel Blanks is a part of US Black heritage.
Gabriel was born in 1873 in Texas. He was the son of Isaiah Blanks and Lydia Edmonds. In 1880 he was living with his parents and siblings in Kerr County, Texas.[1]
Gabriel married Laura Ware in Kerr County, Texas in 1908.[2] In 1920 they were living in Kerr County where he was a cook at the sanitarium. They had 4 children and Laura's brother Israel in the household.[3]
He passed away in 1941 in Kerrville, Texas. [4] He was buried in Tivy Mountain Cemetery in Kerrville.[5]
