Jean Blanchard was born about 1743 in Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia, son of Jean Baptiste Blanchard (1714–1779) and Marguerite Girouard (1719–1804).[citation needed]
Jean (32) married Marie Élisabeth Montdor (21) (born on January 8, 1755 in L'Ancienne-Lorette, Canada, Nouvelle-France; daughter of Jean François Léonard and Marie Ursule Gauvin) on February 5, 1776 in Lavaltrie, Québec Province.[1] Their children were:[2]
Jean (73) married Marie Angélique Guyard (42) (born on August 20, 1775 in L'Assomption, Province de Québec; daughter of Jean Baptiste Guyard and Marie Élisabeth Savary) on September 15, 1817 in Notre-Dame de Montréal, Bas-Canada.[3]
Jean died about December 13, 1822 in Montréal, Bas-Canada, aged about 78.[4]
