Biography

Dates of birth and death from Source ^[1]. The source also shows the full name as Mary Margaret Hays Barton, and one census record lists her as Mary M.H. Fogle, but we did not find any actual records that include the name Hays. The dates are consistent across all the records.

"Mrs. Mary M. Fogle, widow of the late William M. Fogle, of Detour Carroll county, died at the Frederick City Hospital, of typhoid fever, after an illness of five weeks, aged 61 years. She is survived by one son, Harry Fogle, a school teacher, and four sisters, all of Detour. Her funeral took place from the church Keysville, Carroll county, on Friday morning, at 10 o'clock. Interment was made in the graveyard adjoining the church."
