Alice married Robinson Benjamin Banyer in Kapunda, South Australia on 5 August 1883.^[2]

Alice died in Balaklava, South Australia on 10 December 1913 at the age of 50 years. ^[3] The following death notice was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Chronicle, on 13 December 1913:^[4]

BANYER. —On the 10th December, at "Rivenia," Balaklava, Alice M., the dearly -beloved wife of B. R. Banyer, aged 50 years.

Alice was buried at the Balaklava Public Cemetery in Balaklava, South Australia on 11 December 1913. ^[5]

The following obituary was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Advertiser, on 12 December 1913:^[6]

To those residents of Kapunda who were unaware of the long and serious illness of Mrs. B. R. Banyer, of Balaklava, the news of her death on Wednesday came as a shock. She was formerly Miss Alice M. Arnott, a daughter of the late Mr. Robert Arnott, of South-terrace, Kapunda. Her husband was also a Kapunda resident, and for many years was editor of the Kapunda Herald till it changed ownership, when he removed to Balaklava to take up a similar position on the local paper there. Mrs. Banyer was only 50 years old.
