Biography

Birth

Patty Mira Andrews was born at Raynham, Massachusetts, on 15 Jun 1804, the daughter of Zephaniah Andrews and Hepzibah (Luscombe) Andrews.^[1][2] The 1850 Census shows her as 46 and the 1860 Census shows as 56, both showing her (incorrectly) born in Maine.^[3][4]

Marriage

Patty Andrews married Zenas Campbell.^[5] No record has been found of the marriage, but in 1830, they were living at Livermore, Maine, with one child aged 5 to 10 and two under 5,^[6] and their son Zeba was shown as 34 years old in the 1860 Census,^[4] so the marriage must have occurred no later than 1825.

Zenas and Patty Campbell separated or divorced; in 1860, Patty was living at Livermore at the age of 46 in the household of their son Zeba, his wife, and the three youngest daughter of Zenas and Patty, and Zenas has not been found,^[4] and in 1880, Zenas was living at Leeds, Maine, with isaac and Matilda Carver at Leeds, Maine,^[7] and Patty was living at Livermore at the age of 76 as a boarder in the household of her niece, Harriet (Campbell) Waite, and her husband and was suffering from consumption..^[8]

Patty (Andrews) Campbell was the mother of 11 known children, born between 1825 and 1847, and they are listed in the "Children" section of her husband's profile.

Death

The gravestone of Patty M. Campbell at the True Cemetery in Livermore, Maine, says that she died on 23 Mar 1881 at the age 0f 77.^[9]
