Biography

Jane Amelia Allsop (married name Balfour) was born around 1860, the daughter of Jane Allsop and Thomas Allsop.^[1][2]

She was married to James Balfour. Their children were:

• James Phillip Balfour (1880?–?)^[3]
• Sarah Jane Balfour (1881?–1944)^[3]
• Frederick John Balfour (1882?–?)^[3]
• Evelyn Maud Balfour (1887?–1980?)^[3]

James died in 1915.^[3]

Jane died in 1942 in New South Wales, Australia, aged 82 years.^[1][2] Her remains were interred with those of her late husband at Old Dubbo Cemetery.^[4]
