Robert was born in 1889 to Robert Allen and Sara Lytte. ^[1] In 1891, he was living in Lochiel, Glengarry, Ontario, Canada with his parents and siblings, ^[2] and by 1900, the family was in Pine Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. ^[3] They were still there in 1910, ^[4] and in 1915, Robert married Margaret Cochran. ^{[5] [6]} Robert served in WWI, ^{[7] [8]} and he at least filled out a draft card for WWII. ^[9] Robert is in the 1920, ^[10] 1930, ^[11] and 1940 ^[12] censuses in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife and children. He passed away in 1982. ^{[13] [14]}
