I started genealogy in early 2020, and WikiTree at the end of 2021. I have Persian, Irish, English, Scottish, German, Swedish, Danish, and Welsh in my DNA. I’m hoping to research both my own ancestors and build out my tree, and help improve and build the World Tree.
Projects:
Note: I manage several profiles that are not related to me due to my work in projects and challenges. If you have more of an interest in a profile than I do and would like to be on the trusted list, just send me a message! I’ll gladly add you and/or hand over managership.

It is once again time for our annual Ireland Project check-in. Please respond within the next three weeks to let us know:
You can respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. If we don’t hear from you within the next three weeks we’ll assume your interests have changed or you no longer are able to participate in the Ireland Project at this time, and your badge will be removed. Many thanks for all that so many of you have contributed to the project in the past year, and very special thanks to those who answered the project’s call and gave generously of their time to be part of Team Seanchaithe during the most recent connect-a-thon. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

I’ve not heard back from you regarding the US Southern Colonies Project check-in so have gone ahead and removed you from the project for now. However, if you’d like to rejoin at any stage you would be most welcome to do so by answering the G2G sign-up post here.
Many thanks,
Mary~ Project Coordinator, Membership, US Southern Colonies
I sent you a check-in message a week ago about the US Southern Colonies Project to ask you about your continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the Southern Colonies project? If I don’t hear from you by the same time next week I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Best wishes,
Mary~ Project Coordinator, Membership, US Southern Colonies

We hope you are enjoying your time in the Orphan Trail Team; even if you are currently taking a Pause or waiting to be buddied up with a Trailblazer. We are pleased that you decided to join us and on behalf of the England Project, I would like to thank you for all your contributions towards the project's goals. Every single contribution you make helps improve English profiles!
We are looking forward to you joining one of our other collaborative and energetic teams once you complete the Trail.
I'd also like to share our annual Newsletter with you. You can read it here: England Project Newsletters. We hope you enjoy reading a bit about what has gone on in 2022 and what our Project has achieved.
The England Project Leaders like to touch base with each of our members every 6 months just to make sure everything is going well. There's no need to reply to this message unless you have something you'd like to let us know about (e.g. if you would like to provide us with feedback about the Trail or the project). We will be in touch with you again in the middle of next year when we do our annual check-in with project members.
On behalf of all the Leaders, I wish you a peaceful and productive 2023.
Best wishes,
Susie, England Project Leader

On behalf of the England Project, I would like to thank you for all your contributions towards the project's goals over the past year. Every English profile we improve helps!

Many thanks!
Joan, England Project Leader
I'm still completing the trail, so I'm not on any teams yet. I'm on my second profile. I haven't had that much time lately for wikitree, and neither has my trailblazer, bit now that it's summer and my classes are over, I'll have more time to work.

I have been active, though not specifically in the SoCol project. I'm in a lot of other projects, and have mostly been working on matches, the Allen ONS that I manage, and the Black Heritage Connectors Challenge, but quite often those overlap with SoCol work. I have been keeping up with g2g, the project news pages, and the Google group. Occasionally I will sit down and spend some time working on tasks just for the project, such as writing biographies or sourcing profiles. I spend most of my time, when I do project work, with my own ancestors, Virginia profiles, and Allen profiles.

Thank you for your contributions to the March 2022 Sourcerers Challenge! As you know, every source added to an unsourced profile improves our One Tree. Thank you for taking time from your own family history to help others.

I apologize if I missed it as when profiles are merged and not "cleaned up" sources are moved out of place, duplicate headings are often created and sections like the = Research Notes = can be placed under Acknowledgments or wherever... Again, I appreciate anyone being proactive so just let me know what sources or info were given so I can check things and hopefully the tip about merges and cleaning up will help in the future as we can all use reminders to read both profiles entirely before merging in cases like this. Especially when names are different (and yes I know Sarah and Sally could be nicknames but she now has 4 names;) Cheers! Becky Elizabeth
I’m so sorry that I didn’t answer sooner. I had been planning to, but I got distracted with other things, both on WikiTree and off, and completely forgot. I will admit that I must have somehow missed that research notes section when I was reviewing the merge. Considering that I went through the merge, I’m sure that I though they were the same person, but perhaps I made a mistake in assuming that. It looks that your research notes are still in the bio, along with several sources, though the profile definitely needs some work. If you’d like, and can go through with that clean-up and do some more research, though if you’d prefer, I can leave that to you. Sorry again for the inconvenience and the delayed response, Leila

It has been an interesting journey trying to sort out the Cornells. best wishes Dawn
Thanks for sourcing.
I added it on "1 Feb 20:32: You added the Sourcerer badge for Leila (K.) Keller" and the badge page (search for your first name) thinks you still have it
The only thing I can figure that might have happened is that I did it at the same time that you were changing your Last Name at Birth (LNAB). Anyway, I have added it again using your new Wiki ID. Thanks for alerting us that it had gotten lost.
Debi
Congratulations on adding sources to 83 profiles during the January Sourcerers Challenge! Thank you for improving the health of our One Tree.
Nan, WT Appreciation Team
To get rid of the (Formerly K) create a new profile with the correct information (Last name at Birth Keller) then merge this profile into the new one.
This will keep your contributions and give you one correct profile.
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Thank you, for signing the Honor Code. Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree.
Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page.
Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is a great way to start.
Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.
