Biography

Ada (Alchin) Anderson was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Ada Maria Alchin was born on 4 October 1868 in Yass, Colony of New South Wales. She was the fourth child and third daughter of Thomas Alchin and Jane Shepherd.

Ada married William Anderson on 16 November 1895 in Young, Colony of New South Wales. They had five children:

1. Austin Clarence Anderson
2. Elsie Ada Anderson
3. Ronald S Anderson
4. Duncan W William Anderson
5. Agnes E Anderson

Ada passed away on 31 August 1942 in Kingsgrove, New South Wales, aged 73. She was buried in Rookwood General Cemetery, Rookwood, New South Wales.
