Biography

Rosina (Alchin) Brown was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Rosina Augusta Alchin was born on 4 August 1873 in Jerrawa, Colony of New South Wales. She was the sixth child and fifth daughter of Thomas Alchin and Jane Shepherd.

Rosina married William Arthur Brown on 9 September 1896 in Yass, Colony of New South Wales. They had six children:

2. Donald Herbert Arthur Brown
3. Horace Oliver Brown
4. Alice Mabel Brown
5. Sidney Joseph Brown
6. Alan William Brown

Rosina passed away on 15 June 1953 in Condobolin, New South Wales, aged 79. She was buried in Condobolin Cemetery, Condobolin, New South Wales.
