1) father William moved to Jefferson Co. AL between 1820 and 1830 census.

2) Robert's sister Eleanor married in Jefferson Co. AL in 1825.

3) it appears sister Eleanor's husband (also Abernathy) in Jefferson by 1821.

4) Robert and all of his siblings born on/after 1824, show AL birthplace

This "other" Robert b.1851 is the nephew of "our" Robert.

Not to be confused with Robert Abernethy b.1813, who is living with mother Esther in 1850-1860 Lincoln Co. North Carolina

This "other" Robert b.1813 is probably related, but not sure how.

living in very close proximity to other Abernathy's (assumed siblings).

These nearby Abernathy's are: Richard, Mary, Martha, Elizabeth, Amanda

3) Robert and his assumed siblings, all fit correctly onto father's 1830-1840 census.
