I have hit a brick wall looking for my great great grandmother Yates who died after 1930.

Question

I'm looking for information on Woodruff-1912, Nancy Elizabeth Yates Woodruff. She died in Dyer County, Tennessee after 1930. There is no obituary, no burial record, no photo, no funeral home record, no census record beyond 1930, and she is not in the state death index.  I only know she died at my grandmother's home in Dyersburg, TN. What else am I missing that I could be looking for? Thanks in advance for any help you can give! Sincerely, Dustin A.

I find them on the 1900 census which you might want to add as a source to the profile. On close inspection this document gives Illinois as birthplace for Nancy and both her parents. I reccomend following out the children on censuses to see if she pops up in thier households.

Who was Nancy Woodruff married to.And where did she live.Was her maiden name Yates.Where was she born???

She was married to A. Lewis (or Lemuel) Yates, who died in 1904. Her maiden name was Woodruff. They lived in both Newbern and Dyersburg, TN. She was born in Illinois. Thanks for the help!

At this point I'm mostly looking for ways to find her death date and once I have that, possibly an obituary. I have one other funeral home that I suspect might have a record but I can literally find nothing on her after 1930.
