but the LNAB should be Montagu, not de Montagu - see http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Name_Fields_for_European_Aristocrats (do not include "de" in LNAB) & http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/ENGLISH%20NOBILITY%20MEDIEVAL1.htm#_Toc434831823 (Montagu spelling - MedLands is EuroAristo project's guiding reference & Magna Carta project guidelines say to defer to MedLands when the name given by Douglas Richardson is different).

Most profiles pre-1500 will fit in a project, and many projects have refined the general WikiTree Name Field guidelines. See http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Name_Field_Guidelines for a compilation of project guidelines.

and a bigger issue - neither MedLands nor Richardson shows a daughter named Catherine for 2nd Lord Montagu.

The profile page does not provide a verifiable source ("first-hand information" & "family trees" are the sources given).

Is this the same family?

I am also attempting to resolve issues surrounding SIMON.  His father was also named Simon (married to Aufricia) and the younger Simon (married to Hawise) had three brothers and seven sisters.  One of the brothers was William (married to Elizabeth Montfort) while young Simon's son was also named William (married to possibly Bertha? -- my family genealogy doesn't have her name)

Please comment on my post above.

Hi Ron

I'm not sure what sources you are using for your family tree, but what you have outlined doesn't seem to fit with what's in The Complete Peerage, Vol 9.

Hopefully you can download it or have a look at the contents from this link https://dcms.lds.org/delivery/DeliveryManagerServlet?from=fhd&dps_pid=IE4496737  The Montagu start in p. 75 and there is a Simon who married a Hawise on p. 78-80 but the William who married Bertha, are Simon's parents, and the William who married Elizabeth Montfort is his son.
