Help with understanding suggestions.

When working on suggestions, what do the colors mean?  I am trying to work on Schimmel-320 and I see after using control F that two colors are highlighting my errors: orange and gold.  What one needs correcting? I've tried watching the Data Doctor and I think I'm getting it right, but still receive the same issue in the following weeks suggestions.

I'm not sure what you are talking about with the orange and gold highlights because when I look at a suggestion list I only see pink (errors), yellow (warnings) and purple (Find A Grave).

I do want to address your <ref> tags though. It looks like you are trying to style them like the WikiTree Sourcer does, but that you are not actually using the Sourcer. For instance, this is producing an error:

<'''Residence''': Germany, Select Births and Baptisms, 1558-1898 NOTE<i>Germany, Births and Baptisms, 1558-1898</i>. Salt Lake City, Utah: FamilySearch, 2013,<br/>

Link: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NCD6-73P https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NCD6-73P./>

</ref>

It should be formatted:

<ref>'''Residence''': Germany, Select Births and Baptisms, 1558-1898 NOTE<i>Germany, Births and Baptisms, 1558-1898</i>. Salt Lake City, Utah: FamilySearch, 2013,<br/>

Link: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NCD6-73P https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NCD6-73P.</ref>

You always need an open and close reference tag: <ref></ref> You can also name your reference tag if you will be using the source with more than one fact within a profile: <ref name='reference'></ref> Subsequent use will look like this: <ref name='reference' />

If you decide to use the Sourcer (highly recommend) you should also be aware that you can change the display options within the app. For instance, instead of highlighting text in BOLD, you can opt for ITALIC or PLAIN text.

I also suggest that you go to the help index and search sources. It explains how to cite sources. The help index was my go to when I first started on wikitree. Happy hunting.
