I am looking for more information on my great great grandfather born about 1865, possibly in Monroe County, Ga. Through an elder's family member DNA I have a connection to a Martha Zellner married to Robert Zellner on the 1880 census, who live in Monroe County, GA. Using this information I believe that my Great Great Grandfather, Charlie was on the 1870 census in Monroe County, GA. However, the issue is there are no adults in the house. The head of the house is Martha 12 years old. How can I find out more information and verify that this is my great great grandfather?
*He does have a Georgia death certificate but on this certificate he is listed as Charlie Walden and he died in Marshallville, GA. Only information is that he is born in Monroe County, GA.
