James Rogers and Juda Eaton of Virginia & Kentucky

Question

Hi all,

Over a month ago, looking for someone else entirely I happened upon these profiles and initiated what seemed to be an obvious merge. I have just completed the merge for Judith/Juda after a default approval, but now she is "married" to different James Rogers profiles (Rogers-45156, Rogers-15381, Rogers-33556).

I *think* they should all be merged, but this time and place is outside of my expertise so would appreciate if anyone could help. Thanks!

I've added info from/link to http://revwarapps.org/w2168.pdf - her maiden name was Eaton & she testified that she married James Rogers in February 1795.

I couldn't find her in the 1850 census, but looking at the record of her marriage in Virginia (James Roger & Juda Sexton) it appears to me that 2 Jun 1795 is the date of the minister's return (either that or a lot of ministers were holding mass weddings).

If you're logged in to FamilySearch, see [this image]. They are one of several couples married by Charles Hardy (the first couple's entry includes the 2 June 1795 date).

edit - changed "I haven't yet found her" to "I couldn't find her". Maybe someone better than I am at searching census records in FamilySearch can.

US Southern Colonies project will work on this. I have begun the process to make the lowest numbered profile Rogers-15381 project managed / project protected based on duplication (or easily conflated) and will review these for possible merge.
