Ref: Benjamin Eaton-7225 and alleged son Richard Eaton-6372

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I am PM for Richard but Anonymous Anonymous https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Scheible-86 is the one who decided to link Benjamin of New Hampshire (1755-1836) as the father of Richard (1782-1855) Eaton

This particular Benjamin of New Hampshire (1755-1836) was the son of Jacob if the correct connections and sources have been made; Jacob was the spouse of Ester Colby (https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/M61N-4BB} No proofs were presented by Anonymous Anonymous who created Benjamin (1755-1836) and then added Benj to Richard to be Richard's father 28 Dec 2019 15:34: Anonymous (Scheible) Anonymous added Benjamin Eaton (1755-1836) as father for Richard Eaton (1782-1855).

The narrative on Richard's profile "ANTECEDENTS -- Our Preece & Pruitt Family Lines Updated: 2011-02-13 Owner: Linda -- Patriarch Richard Eaton was born 1782 in Hampshire, West Virginia, USA, and died 1855 in Thornton, Limestone, Texas, USA. He was buried in Eatontown, Limestone, Texas, USA. He was the son of Thomas Eaton and Malinda Eaton."

Thomas is not also identified as Benjamin although both men are cited as having married a Malinda

I have no direction on this as to what to do -- am I to disconnect Richard as the child of Benjamin? The Benjamin cited (Eaton-7225) -- am I allowed to do that?

Anonymous Anonymous is the one who connected them at the time Benjamin was created by Anonymous Anonymous. Isn't that PM the one who should disconnect them?

I have no proofs of who the father of Richard was as in a document that clearly states who Richard's father was -- there are "histories" cited by me that do state who his father was but they did not offer proofs of that

closed with the note: Marking Richard's "father" Benjamin as 'uncertain' is adequate remedy for now
