I entered the marriage date incorrect and I am unable to change it, it should not be "married 7 Dec 1861 in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada" it should be December 7th 1887 - Can anyone help?

You need to go to edit mode. Then on the right you will see a list of family. Go down to spouse and click on "Edit Marriage to William James Willard." A new screen will open and you can then edit the date.
