This is my grandmother Elizabeth Kuhlman. Location: At her home in Findlay, Ohio. Date: Sometime in the 1960s. She is standing at her side door. The steps beside her went up to a small apartment she would rent, usually to a single person or a couple with no children. After having 12 babies of her own she didn't want to hear a baby cry in the night. She lived across the street from the Catholic church in what used to be a dark green house. The people that own it now painted it gray. The area she is standing was an additional front room that was white. I still sometimes dream of her and her house. I'm in my 70's and she has been dead since the year I graduated high school. It was shortly after she and grandpa moved there that he died so she lived there about 16 years as a widow.
