Need help determining a Spanish Surname

I'm getting ready to add the spouse of Pedro Antonio Moya.  I can't find a baptism record for her (probably among the missing records of Santa Fe prior to 1747).  Her marriage record says Juana Martín but their witness is named Simon Martín Dominguez.  I know the surname "Martín Dominguez" is used in Spain and Mexico but it is very rare in New Mexico.  On her children's baptisms she uses Juana Dominguez. but on their marriage records she uses Getrudis Dominguez.  My inclination is to add her as Juana Getrudis / Martín Dominguez/.  I would love to see other opinions with an explanation.  I'm afraid I'm missing or forgetting something.

It is quite possible she never used the surname “Martin Dominguez” and only the individual names at different times in her life.

In my experience with early Mexican records the use of compound surnames was more common in the upper strata of society. With the common folks it was very often not used.

How is she named in her marriage record? Does a matrimonial investigation exist?
I can't find a DM but her marital record is the only record where she uses Juana Martín.  It was the witness Simon Martín Dominguez that caught my eye. As best I can tell, this is the only record where he uses the compound name (I'm still researching trying to find a connection to Juana).  Most of his records I have been able to find mainly use Simon Dominguez with a few naming him Simon Martín.
My 18th century Mexican ancestors always seem have slightly different baptism, marriage and burial names, particularly when they had four or five given names, and I sometimes struggle on deciding where to insert the extra name that appears on a record.

So in this case, I agree with your naming convention.

Here's a guide to naming conventions per Wikitree guidelines, I hope it is helpful:

By this guide, you would add her with the last name of Martin with the two last names together listed as her current last name or a last name variant.
