Introducing myself

Question

Looking for my Nanas niece, or her family. My Nannys sister passed away at a very young age, and family have been looking for her daughter for a long long time, but with no luck, I have decided to try myself! Not sure how to go about it on this any tips will be greatly appreciated!

You are welcome to use the site to research your family tree and see if you find anything of interest.

You could start by using the search box at the top of the screen when on your profile page. You can use this in two ways. You can search by surname alone and you will find everyone with that surname. This can be narrowed in a number of ways. If you see "Genealogists”, click on that to find active WikiTree members researching that name. You can also use it to search by a specific name. Why don't you give that a try and let me know if you need more help or post a reply here.

If you want to add family profiles, consider upgrading your account to Family Member (it is free). There is a link on your profile under your name, next to “Guest Member” or use this link to  upgrade. Just answer the five questions and click on the green box that says "Upgrade”.

I assume you are asking about your grandmother's niece. Do you have your grandmother's first name, maiden name and married last name? Do you have her birth date and location, such as country, county and city?

Keep asking questions as there are many at WikiTree who like to answer questions.

As far as the Lambert surname, there are over 11,000 with that Surname listed at WikiTree. To find other names at WikiTree, just click on Find. Find is at the upper right of this page. After that menu opens up, click on Surnames. Then, enter any surname you like. There is also room for first names.
