Biography

Charles was born on the 28th November 1803 in Plymouth, Devon the son of John Williams (~1779 - ) and Agnes (Hursk) Williams (~1783 - 1846), and he was christened on the 25th December 1803 at How Street Baptist Church, Plymouth, Devon.^[1][2][3]

Charles a husbandman, married Mary Ann Coombs (~1807 - ~1881) on the 5th March 1826 at St Germans, Cornwall. The witnesses were John Coombs and Jane Blight.^[4][5]

1841 Census on the 6th June 1841 Charles an agricultural labourer, was living in Newport Street, St Germans, Cornwall with his wife Mary and their children William, Elizabeth, Mary, Martha and Agnes.^[6]

1851 Census on the 30th March 1851 Charles a tin worker, was living in St Germans, Cornwall with his wife Mary and their children Martha, Agnes and Jane.^[7]

1861 Census on the 7th April 1861 Charles a mason's labourer, was living in Gallery Lane, St Germans, Cornwall with his wife Mary.^[8]

1871 Census on the 2nd April 1871 Charles a labourer, was living in Fore Street, St Germans, Cornwall with his wife Mary.^[9]

Charles died aged 76 about 1880 in St Germans, Cornwall.^[10]
