Anne was born about 1735. She was the daughter of Pierre Theriot and Marguerite Guérin.
She was listed on the 1752 La Roque census, age 17, at Baie-de-Mordienne on Ile Royale (now Cape Breton Island) with her family. [1]
Anne and her family were among the 342 passengers who were put aboard the Duke William, bound for France. Close to half of the passengers, 146, did not survive the horrific conditions on board and died at sea. Twenty nine died at hospital within 2 months of arrival in Saint-Malo on 1 November 1758. Her father Pierre and children Anselme and Anne died at sea. Her mother Marguerite disembarked at Saint-Malo with Françoise, Geneviève and Brice. Marguerite died two weeks later. Brice died at the hospital on 3 December 1758. [2] Françoise and Geneviève were orphans in a new country.
She passed away in 1758, at sea.
