Maria Agnes Moulton was born 4 Sep 1845, Guildford, the fourth child of parents (James) Abraham Matthews Moulton (1798-1846) and Mary Jones (1814-1863), who were married 25 Apr 1838, Guildford.
Maria Agnes Giblett (nee Moulton) died 11 Mar 1930, Blackwood District.

OBITUARY ^[1] MRS. MARIA A. GIBLETT.
The S.W. mourns the loss of one of its oldest and best residents in Mrs. Maria Agnes Giblett, of Dingup, who died on Tuesday, March 11, at the age of 84 years. The remains were laid to rest on March 13, beside those of her husband in the old Balbarrup Cemetery, probably the first cemetery to be consecrated southward from Bridgetown.
On the way from Dingup House the cortege halted at Dingup Church where the coffin was placed before the altar, the pall bearers being Messrs Hubert J. Giblett, J. S. Scott, A. S. C. Chatley and H. E. Blechynden, and a short service was conducted by the Rev. F. Davies, of Bridgetown. In the course of his address the preacher dwelt upon the long and wonderfully active and useful life of the late Mrs. Giblett, whom he had considered as a very dear friend for the past eighteen years.
He could not accept the old idea of eternal rest as a reward for active lives such as that of Mrs. Giblett. He believed that an eternity of leisure would have no joy for one who in this life found pleasure in valuable work, and he thought that in the after-life Mrs Giblett, and others like her, would be given the opportunity to carry on the noble activity which they merely began whilst on this earth.
There was an attendance of over two hundred at the graveside where the Rev. F. Davies read the burial service.
