Biography

Edmond William Jones was baptised at Holt on 13 August 1797, and was a weaver 1822 –33 [BT] He was a gardener in 1837-39 and parish clerk in 1841-48. [BT] He died of consumption at Holt, Denbighshire on 5 May 1848 , aged 47, and was buried 10 May aged 50. [BT] [d.cert]Wrexham district. The informant was Samuel Parsonage of Holt, who became the parish clerk. Edmond was the parish clerk in 1848, but had been a farmer.
