William married Alice TRIPP on 26 January 1669 Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island.[2][3]Alice, born 1650, was the daughter of John Trippe who came in 1635 to Aquidneck Pond, now Portsmouth, R.I. John Trippe was one of the Portsmouth Compact signers, 20 April 1633.

Hall-545 and Hall-43214 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents; siblings; spouse; children. Where one has records the other profile doesn't. These 2 profiles are two halves of the same whole. It's quite poetic, a metaphor for the completed life... :-)
There is some conflict with respect to his DOD. Both "Halls of New England" and Cutter say he served in the General Assembly in 1716, but Torrey's NE Marriages to 1700 says he died in 1698 and many family trees say he died in 1691.
