I need some collaboration in adding his parental lineage. It appears we have a birth record but the language barrier is challenging. I’d like to see this Danish ancestor connected if possible

Thank you

I have on ancestry a Hans Christian Nissen (1841-1908) and a Waldemann Cenna Petersen ?-1928

Hans parents as Niels Hansen Nissen (1812-1887) and Martina Pauline Krøyer (1810-1880)

Then I have it going as Niels parents Hans Hansen Nissen (1772-1844) and Maria Handdatter (1771-1813)

I’m thinking your are correct as more sources and the ancestry is t well sourced that I connected into as it is predictive off other trees. This is why I haven’t added the parents yet but maybe someone can add the parents to George and I can help collaborate. I’m not very good with the language of the Danish people and your help has been so much appreciated.

Thank you
hmm your supposed father from Ancestry born 1841 seem a bit young to be married and have a child in 1855 :) the supposed mothers name is not danish. Is probably the same as listed on FamilySearch as Valborg Pedersen - with a different husband and in a different area of Denmark. (Nissen is not such an uncommon name)

I am 100% sure of the Jørgen Nissen born 1855 in Hoptrup and his parents and grandparents - but it he the same as Jørgen Nissen in USA and Canada?

You could investigate this person from FamilySearch Peter Nissen from Hoptrup - brother of Jørgen Nissen from Hoptrup, and in Winona, Minnesota - any connections between him and your Jørgen/George?

Not sure but same location in family being Winona Minnesota. I’m sure a relation
