Grizzell Wray born 18 Mar 1694 in Haddington, E Lothian, Scotland. Her parents were John Wray and Elizabeth Paxton.
Grizzel Wray married William Allison c 1715 in Ireland.
The couple had at least five children, probably more.
After her first husband's death on 27 Aug 1739, Grizzell, widow of William Allison married James McAllister. [citation needed]
James and Grizzell moved from Pennsylvania to Orange County, North Carolina where he died in 1771. A will for him has not been found yet, but in 1772 Grizzell McCollister paid a tax on belongings valued at 710 pounds in Orange County, North Carolina. Grizzell Wray Allison McAllister left a will dated 20 Jan 1794. Do we really think she lived to be one hundred years old?

Grizzell's will is probated May 1794. She makes bequeaths to David Allison, John Allison, my son, Margaret Allison, Grizzel Thompson, daughter of Mary Clark, Jean Allison, James Donaldson, Elizabeth Allison, and Sarah Allison. David Allison appointed sole executor. Wit: James Mordah and Elizabeth Allison..
There is no record of a will for James McAllister. His estate was inventoried 30 July 1771 and filed by Neil McAllister. The following year Grizzell McCollister (sic) paid tax on possessions valued @ 710 pounds.
