Born in Wichita, Kansas, because that's where the hospital was; but lived the first 6 years in Derby, Kansas. Moved to Larned, Kansas right before 1st grade and lived there until high school graduation. Moved to Wichita, Kansas to attend WSU and graduated from there in December 1983. Helped women have babies at home as a lay midwife in and around Wichita from 1983 to 1990. First as an apprentice then did a few as primary midwife, including "catching" my niece (brothers' daughter) and then my nephew (sisters' son). Married in 1987 West-25016 and had two children in Wichita, neither born at home unfortunately; stopped being a midwife. Started doing daycare in order to be with own children, then moved to Osage City, Kansas in 1993. Divorced in 1997. Met second husband (married 2003) and moved to Lincoln, Nebraska.
10th cousins.

Thank you for contibuting to Roger Garde-15. You added a quoted paragraph, attributing it to James R. Henderson. Would you please provide further information on it such as the book, periodical, etc.? I don't recognize the author but perhaps he has published this info in one of the sources you added.
Thanks, S
