Biography

US Black Heritage Project
Moses Williams is a part of US Black heritage.

Moses Williams was born about 1840 in Vermont. He was the son of Cato Williams and Ellen, and the brother of Civil War veteran Cyrus Williams of the all-black 54th Massachusetts regiment.

He died in 1928 after being hit by a car[1] and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Rutland, Vermont.[2]
