Annie Elizabeth Williams. ^[1][2] According to 1930 census, her mother and father were born in Mississippi. The 1920 census appears to show her mother was born in Alabama but father in Mississippi.

According to Thiele family typed and handwritten notes, they were married 1885 in Kemper County, Mississippi.

Born Dec 1869. Mississippi, United States. ^[3][4] On 1930 census, birthdate is 1870, but birthdate is 1869 on other censuses. There is an Annie Williams on 1880 census, born in 1870, with father John I Williams born in Alabama and mother Susie A Williams born in Mississippi, has 4 younger brothers. There is an Annie E Williams on another 1880 census born in 1870, with father and mother both from Mississippi, James T Williams and Martha A Williams, with one older and 3 younger siblings. There is also an Annie Williams on on another 1880 census born in 1869 in Mississippi (mother and father born in Mississipipi) who is listed as being a niece of Mary Norris, age 34, born in Alabama but no parents in the household at that time. She was living at the time in Corinth, Alcorn, Mississippi in the same household as 9 unrelated people aged 6-80, one listed as a boarder and four listed as servants. Carpenter-12951 may be able to identify the correct Annie Williams Carpenter and her parents. Familysearch.com has her listed as Sarah Anne Elizabeth Williams Carpenter (though no official documents list her name as Sarah, all list Annie or Annie E) and lists James T Williams and Martha A Puckett as her correct parents.
