Biography

Samuel was born on 10 Jun 1711 in New London, CT. He was the son of Henry Williams (abt.1669-abt.1749) and Margaret (Boardman) Williams (abt.1681-1744).

Samuel married first Mary (Hurlburt) Williams (1727-1756), daughter of John and Mary (Stoddard) Hurlburt, on 16 Jul 1746 at Groton, New London, CT. Their children were:

The date and place of Samuel's death is unknown.

Research Notes

There were two Mary (Huntington) Tracy women living in Norwich CT in the 1750s. They were Huntington third cousins. One had married John Tracy, the other married Jeremiah Tracy. John and Jeremiah don't appear to be closely related. Samuel married the widow of Jeremiah Tracy, the daughter of Solomon and Mary (Buckingham) Huntington.
