Biography

This William Williams, born 14 Jul 1740 at Stonington, Connecticut, was the second child of William Williams and Martha Wheeler.

Per Wheeler (1900), he married Eunice Prentice, daughter of Thomas & Elizabeth C. (Baldwin) Prentice. In addition to their two children as herein profiled, they had a third who died in infancy:

• Gurdon Williams (24 Mar 1769 - 13 Nov 1769)

This William Williams was a seafaring man, acting as supercargo. He died at sea, 25 Oct 1770, and was buried in the ocean.
