Biography
Denison Williams, born 2 Mar 1793 (possibly 1794) at Stonington, Connecticut, was the fourth child of Eleazer Williams and Mary Billings. He may have carried the middle name Billings.
He married Hannah Avery of Groton. They had 9 children during the timeframe through April 1837.
According to his grave memorial, which is unsourced, Denison Williams married second, in 1850, Eliza Avery (1796-1883), who was a daughter of Caleb and Mary (Avery) Avery.
Denison Williams died 22 Feb 1867 at Preston, Connecticut. His grave is in New Poquetanuck Cemetery, Preston, New London County, Connecticut, USA [1].
