Biography

Edmund Henry Colclough Waller was born on 27 February 1879[1]. His father, Samuel William Waller, was aged 35 and his mother, Eliza Maria Hughes, was aged 27.

He was baptised on 13 June 1880 at the Episcopal Reformed Church of Saint Bartholomew in Montréal, Quebec, Canada[1].

In the 1891 Census of Canada, Edmund Waller (aged 12) was recorded living with his father Samuel Waller (47), his mother Eliza Waller (34) and his younger siblings Arthur Waller (8), Hugh Waller (4) and Catherine Waller (1) at Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Territories[2].

He married Caroline Agnes Mann (the daughter of John Mann, on 18 December 1906. They had 10 children in 14 years:

Edmund Henry Colclough Waller died on 23 March 1970 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, at the age of 91, and was buried at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar, Nanaimo Regional District, British Columbia, Canada[3][1].
